Along with our partner Country Bank, our goal is to get Toto's book out into the hands of children in the communities affected by the 2011 Tornado. Country Bank will donate a copy of Toto the Tornado Kitten to local schools and libraries.

On June 1st, 2011 a devastating F3 Tornado struck western and central Massachusetts, leaving a 37 mile path of destruction from Westfield to Charlton.

One of the towns especially hit hard was Brimfield, with over 140 homes either destroyed or made uninhabitable. There was one fatality and a number of serious injuries sustained by residents throughout the town, including at a local campground. The Town of Brimfield remains scarred by the summer storm as residents continue to make plans and rebuild.

This is the story of one
of it’s smallest inhabitants...
The story of Toto,
The Tornado Kitten.
